Comcast needed a compelling, culturally-relevant way to demonstrate how their WiFi services empower creators, not through specs or jargon, but through real stories that resonate with the next generation of entrepreneurs, influencers, and innovators.

Comcast hired REC Philly as their creative agency to lead the concepting, talent sourcing, production, distribution and storytelling behind the Because of WiFi campaign. Our charge: bring their Wifi offering to life through the lens of creators who depend on connectivity to power their careers.

We developed a storytelling campaign featuring five influential creators — Will Toms, Christian Crosby, Suzanne Sheer, Naomi Smith, and David Carter — each representing a different facet of the creative world or ecosystem. From studio sessions and content drops to remote work and livestreams, we crafted original video assets and social content that made one message clear: powerful WiFi isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.
